Born and raised in the Keystone state in the quintessential small town of Punxsutawney, she graduated from Clarion University of PA with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Her career began with traveling from Punxsutawney on Route 119 south to Indiana County and spanned 22 years in the community mental health field. Used to being a traveler for great work opportunities, she joined Lakeshore Community Services in 2007 and realized the first 22 years was just a warm-up for what was to come. As Director of Residential Services for what may be the smallest piece of the pie of Lakeshore regions, it is quite expansive in terms of distance and means, when not traveling to the office in Ridgway, she may be going to the residential homes in Kane and DuBois, meetings at the Warren or Erie offices, or wherever else duty may call.

When not working, she is content to be at home spending time with family, although to visit her two daughters now grown, means the necessity of traversing southwestern PA. A lover of preparing delicious meals, this seems to be enticement for family both near and far. Also at home is a loving furry companion, a cat her daughter named Albus. Albus appeared to be a stray, a king without a castle of sorts, who decided this was the place he wanted to be. Could have been the enticement of delicious meals and warm hospitality.
